Professor Håvard E Danielsen is the founder and director of the Institute for Cancer Genetics and Informatics (ICGI) and Professor II at the Department of Informatics at Oslo University and has a long experience leading multidisciplinary research teams in cancer informatics. He is an honorary professor in Cancer Informatics at the University of Oxford (UK) and medicine at the University of Soochow (China). He has introduced many “firsts” in the field of digital imaging and artificial intelligence to benefit cancer patients through his 15 patents and more than 160 publications. He is the international Colorectal Cancer Network leader and the former president of The International Society for Cellular Oncology.
