Professor Andrew Kneebone is a senior staff specialist in radiation oncology at the Royal North Shore and Gosford Hospitals as well as Genesis Cancer Care. He has more than 30 years of experience as a leading genito-urinary and gastro-intestinal cancer specialist. He has been active in the Australian Gastro-Intestinal Trials Group (AGITG) since 2006 conducting regular contouring workshops over that period and has co-authored national AGITG contouring guidelines for anal and pancreas cancer. He has been an author on more than 160 publications and has been a Chief investigator in trials attracting nearly $12 million from 13 competitive grants including the ongoing AGITG MASTERPLAN trial.
