Marlyse Debrincat Walter and Eliza Hall Institute Australia

Marlyse Debrincat is a project manager at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research Melbourne, where she is a member of the DYNAMIC circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) study team.  She graduated from the University of Melbourne with a PhD in 2007.  During her studies, Marlyse developed an interest in translational cancer research and clinical trials.  This led to a transition from lab based research to clinical research roles including coordinating cancer and haematology trials and later, managing pharma sponsored and investigator initiated studies as a clinical research associate.  Marlyse is the lead project manager on the DYNAMIC-III study which has over 70 participating sites across Australia, New Zealand and Canada.  She has special interests in colorectal cancer and science communication.
