Dr Jeremy Rossaak Tauranga Hospital Tauranga, New Zealand

Dr Jeremy Rossaak is a New Zealand trained General Surgeon with subspecialty interest in Upper GI and HPB surgery. He has a particular interest in the patients journey through the hospital and patient safety, including allowing patients to be more active in their treatment choices. His clinical practice is centred on malignant upper gastrointestinal, pancreatic surgery and familial gastric cancer. He has a large therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopy practice. Dr Rossaak’s research interests are in complex decision pathways, shared values, prehabilitation and post operative care.

He is currently chairman of the Aotearoa New Zealand Surgical Training Committee.
