Dr Chris Lim Royal North Shore Hospital Australia

Dr Chris Lim is a hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgeon based in Canberra and Sydney. He obtained his medical degree from the University of New South Wales and Master of Surgery from the University of Sydney. Chris became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2019. Subsequently, he was accepted onto the highly competitive Australian and New Zealand Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (ANZHPBA) Fellowship subspecialty program, receiving the Padbury Trophy upon completion. Chris completed his fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital, the highest volume pancreatic centre in Australia. He is on the board of ANZHPBA as a trainee advocate. His research is currently focused on precursor lesions to pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, and on the application of biomarkers in discriminating progressive from non-progressive disease.
